**BRED to be a STURDY EVENTING SUPERSTAR**

Ranger

4 year old 16hh

Friesian/ Argentinian Criollo Gelding

Meet Ranger! Ranger is the horse that everyone dreams of (and yes, I’ve had dreams about him since I started riding him😂). This guy is a special horse, and one that is a fantastic prospect for basically any discipline.

Ranger is a sweet, sweet boy on the ground. He gladly stands for tacking, bathing, grooming, and braiding his beautiful mane and tail. He picks up all four feet lightly and politely, and loves his people. He is a very loveable dude and loves to have his chin scratched (he loves all scratches, but the chin is his sweet spot).

Under saddle, I am not even sure where to begin. He stands for mounting like a statue, and is the perfect balance of whoa and go. He responds well to leg, but is not too sensitive. He responds extremely well to voice commands, like a cluck and a whoa. He steers great, takes his corners very well, will do figure 8’s and serpentines across the arena as well. His flatwork is as close to perfect as it can be for a young guy his age. He has a lovely balanced trot, which he carrie’s a great pace in without constant nagging. He rides VERY light in the bridle. He doesn’t lean or pull, and doesn’t fuss over the bit. He rides in a rubber D-ring snaffle. This guy has the lope off of a lifetime. He has a very balanced, big strided four beat canter, and canters off from the walk. Ranger has also been started on his lead changes, and has flying changes both directions. They will easily become auto with time.

Ranger has taken a liking to jumping more than we could’ve ever hoped for. He is currently schooling 2’-2’3” courses, and has jumped up to 2’6” singles. He shows plenty of athleticism, scope, and interest to go higher. I could easily see him making up to be an outstanding eventer, fox hunter, or play in the equitation ring (lands his leads easy peasy) or the jumpers (if you don’t mind wearing a small spur to keep him up to speed😉). He is incredibly talented, intelligent and willing. His possibilities are endless. He is also comfortable and educated enough on the flat to start his career in the dressage arena.

Now onto his many other talents
Ranger rides outside of the arena as well! He trail rides, and doesn’t mind traffic, crossing ditches, mailboxes, houses, and he doesn’t mind dogs either! (Helloooo fox huntersđŸ€Ș) Honestly, anything you want to do he will do it. He rides alone or with others, leads or follows, stands in the ring while others ride around, and he likes cows (yes. he THOROUGHLY enjoyed his visit with the cows🐼)! Ranger has also been driven. He is traffic safe. He came from a great friend of ours that we’ve gotten other horses from that we have also posted on this site- you can check Edna out in past auctions!

Ranger has a PPE on file, and UTD coggins.

Ranger is a magnificent horse looking for his match to spend his days with. Take him home and enjoy him anyway you want to! Jump around a course one day, and ride him through a cow pen to sort come cattle the next.

Please Note:

In the event of technical issues (site crash, server glitch, etc) within the last 4 minutes of the auction that prevent you from placing your bid, please contact Traci Roy (940-224-3036) or Jeff Peck (940-882-0269) within FIVE MINUTES of the close of the auction and we will continue the bidding via group text.THIS ONLY APPLIES IN THE EVENT OF TECHNICAL ISSUES BEYOND OUR CONTROL.

Auto Bidding:

Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.

Buyers Premium:

Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.

Buy It Now:

Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.

Time Addition:

Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.

Non Payment Fee:

Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.

We're Here To Help:

We are happy to help any way we can, but for maximum chance of success, be sure you are pre-registered prior to the last 10 minutes of the auction. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to give us a call! We are here to help!
