Chief is a 14 year old Appaloosa gelding that stands a sturdy 14.1 hh. He is eligible for hardship papers but we have no need for them. Our kids (2-12 years old) ride him all around and our youngest calls him “Cheese”. He has been used for lessons at our farm and is ready to settle into his new home. He has never offered to buck, rear, kick, or bite. Chief is the first to come to you in the pasture and is so easy to catch. He is a dream horse in all aspects. He has good solid feet all around and just got his two front shoes on today (7/22/21). He was wormed 7/21/21. He is the kind of horse you can throw grandma on and take on a all day ride and he will take care of her. He does neck rein as well. Chief is calm around cars, bikes, dogs, and lawn mowers. He will swim or cross logs if asked and is not scared of guns, fire, or smoke. He is an all around camping style horse as well. Our reason for selling is to help with the cost of buying our forever farm. Ride him bareback in a halter, or saddled with a bit. He will stand to be clipped as well. Auto Bidding:
Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.
Buyers Premium:
Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.
Buy It Now:
Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.
Time Addition:
Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.
Non Payment Fee:
Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.
