🍩Chubby🍩
Chubby is a 45 inch solid bay Welsh Pony gelding and this guy is STOUT! Chubby looks like a smaller version of PawPaws old ranch horse! I’ve been riding him for the last few weeks myself checking fence, riding thru cattle looking for sick ones. I’ve shot 45 caliber pistols off of him several times, I’ve dragged empty feed bunks out of the mud up onto dry ground, and I also roped a few small sick calves off of him in a catch pen and he did awesome! I’ve taken him to several barrel races to ride in the warm up arenas and parking lots and he handled it like a pro with no problem, issues, or boogers. Chubby came from a family with lots of kids and they just outgrew him and needed a bigger (step up) horse.
Chubby is as handy as a shirt pocket because he's got a good little handle and he’s alot of fun to ride!
BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THERE IS NO WAY POSSIBLE TO GET CHUBBY TO LOPE. HE WILL NOT LOPE AT ALL! I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF AND HE WON'T DO IT WHEN YOU'RE ON HIS BACK!!!
Chubby is easy to catch in a pasture and easy to tack up (saddle/bridle). You can also pick up all four feet with no problem .Chubby does not have any health issues he does not crib - heave - weave-etc and he is 100 % sound in every way you can think of! (current health exam posted).
He’s also trained to pull a cart. I’ve drove him down the road and in the woods on trails. He is traffic safe. He will cross anything he can get his leg over (logs). You definitely don’t see pony’s made like him everyday so be sure you check out Chubby!!! You'll be glad you did!

Auto Bidding:
Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.
Buyers Premium:
Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.
Buy It Now:
Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.
Time Addition:
Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.
Non Payment Fee:
Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.
