Gelatah is a beautiful spotted saddle horse mare with a smooth gait and willing attitude. She is sweet, loving, and wants to be a part of everything you do. This mare has taken everything we’ve thrown at her in stride and loves new adventures. She is safe in town and traffic, having seen everything from bikes, strollers, dogs, bridges, etc. Gelatah also rides great up in the rocky, rough terrain of the mountains and has been exposed to wildlife, ATVs, rivers, and anything else you might encounter. She highlines or hobbles and eats and drinks great on the road. She is broken to a tarp or slicker and will allow you to put yours on when it rains. Gelatah loves moving cows and has seen the barrel pattern. She rides any way you wish, English, Western, or bareback. Take her out alone or in a group. She is fearless by herself, a point-and-go horse. She will lead, follow, or ride in the middle of a pack when riding with others. She collects up nicely in the bridle and will stay in a gait. This mare has been phenomenal for us with everything we have asked her to do. She is good for the vet and farrier, loads and unloads like one should, and will haul next to mares or geldings. She stands to be saddled and can be kept in any situation, from pasture with a mixed herd to a run or stall. She lands in the middle of the pecking order in the pasture.
