Geno is a 12 year old buckskin Kentucky Mountain Horse that stands 15 hands tall. Geno is a very nice gentle all around kind of gelding. I have used Geno for daily ranch work and he will sure enought track a calf and take a jerk. I have roped several calves and yearlings off of him to doctor and he has proven to be very handy and strong on the end of a rope. I have penned lots of cattle with him as well. I have also used him to relocate feeders and put out lick tubs. Geno is gun broke. I’ve used him as a practice horse for the last few months in the cowboy mounted shooting events. He is safe to shoot off of right or left handed. Geno has a easy one hand neck rein and stop and his gaits are silky smooth. He will catch his leads easy both directions at a lope. He does not require any maintenance or shoes. He does have shoes on all 4 feet and is really farrier friendly. He has also been started on the cart and he handles it well (watch videos). Geno has been trail rode all over state parks and national forests by beginners and novice riders.
I have personally rode Geno to the store (4 miles) a few times along the highway and let me tell you, he is definitely traffic safe! He doesn't spook at garbage cans, yard dogs, log trucks, motorcycles, etc…

Auto Bidding:
Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.
Buyers Premium:
Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.
Buy It Now:
Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.
Time Addition:
Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.
Non Payment Fee:
Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.
