Gidget is a cute 13.3 hand, 9 year old gaited pony. Watching our children interact with Gidget has brought my wife and I considerable joy. Seeing the confidence and skill develop in the kids thanks to Gidget makes us feel that this chestnut mare will be a great addition to most any program. At 13.3 hands, she’s big enough for mom or dad to ride as well and short enough for kids to climb on. She has been primarily a trail horse. From the city to the mountains, she has seen all the sights… Christmas lights, wildlife, cyclists, and traffic. She crosses water, bogs, down timber, bridges with ease. She has been used to herd and doctor cattle. She is not a rope horse, but she has been thrown into the task and has proven herself to be open and patient will all kinds of tasks. Gidget loves to be caught and pampered. Our kids catch and saddle her on their own. She rides with leg aid and both direct and indirect rein. She has a smooth gait and prefers to walk/gait/trot. She is calm and not skittish or feely. Gidget is very forgiving to inexperienced riders both in the saddle and on the ground. She rides out alone or in a group. She is content following, leading, or packing green riders. Gidget does well out on pasture in a mixed herd. She loads well and backs out of the trailer. Auto Bidding:
Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.
Buyers Premium:
Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.
Buy It Now:
Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.
Time Addition:
Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.
Non Payment Fee:
Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.
