“Grant” is a 12yr old, 15.3hh, QH gelding. Here is a boy who can dabble in every discipline, and look stunning while doing it!

If you are looking for a fun horse, that can go english, and western, here he is! Grant is laid back, brave as ever, and loves his people.

In the barn, Grant has zero bad habits. He is a mouse in his stall, never asks for anything. He has no bad stall habits, and keeps a neat stall as well! He can live inside, or stay out 24/7. He can go out with a mixed herd or alone, doesn’t get buddy sour and causes no drama. He is easy to catch, and always comes to greet you. He has been turned out with cows and doesn’t care about them. Grant will stand around all day long on the cross ties. He enjoys attention, and is safe for beginners and kids to work with. Grant stands to be groomed, bathed, tacked, loads and trailers great, and he is good for the vet and farrier. He picks up all four feet nicely, and over all is very courteous. Grant has great ground manners, he is gentle in hand, and lunges nicely.

On the trails, Grant will lead, follow, go out alone and in groups. He is very brave and willing to cross anything that you ask. He is not spooky in the slightest way, we have encountered deer popping out next to us, vultures fighting in a tree above us, tractors, cars, machinery, flapping tarps, and more. This horse will lead a group through thick and thin. He is safe with dogs riding on his heels. He will climb up and down steep hills without question. On top of it all, this boys loves to splash around in the water, and swim! Grant has been out camping, he high lines well, and stands patiently. He has stamina and can go out trail riding for days in a row. Pack your saddle bags with beer and go enjoy the weekend. Grant crosses water, logs, rocks, and is traffic safe. He takes care of his rider.

Grant rides western, english, and bareback. Ride him western and he will go around like a western horse. Ride him english and he will go around like an english horse. He has no preference. Grant is a good combo of whoa and go. He is not lazy, he has a great work ethic, and loves to have a job. With that being said, he can also sit for week, tack up and go, no silly business. Grant would make an awesome hunt horse with how brave and easy going he is.

Grant listens well to commands, and he is soft in your hands. He is responsive, and polite. Grant moves off of leg, neck reins, pivots, side passes, frames up, backs up, and has a good whoa. He is responsive to leg, both in an english leg position and western. He knows his job. Grant will work cattle as well. I could see this boy dabbling in everything from dressage, to ranch riding. He just has a little bit of everything.

In the ring, Grant will walk, jog, trot, lope, canter, and knows his leads. With help, he has a lead change. He enjoys jumping, he is honest and agile, with scope. He will jump a course or pop over cross rails. He does not get upset with an off balanced rider and can certainly take a joke. Grant doesn’t get upset while learning, he takes things in stride. His gaits are very comfortable and uphill. He is a beautiful mover as well!! Here is a “do it all” horse, at a great age, a stocky build, and a perfect height. He is ready to go in absolutely any direction.

Grant can wear four shoes, go barefoot, and currently has fronts. He is an easy keeper with no maintenance or supplements. He is up to date on farrier, worming, dental, coggins and vaccines. Dont miss out on a fancy, safe gelding, that has everything to offer. Please feel free to reach out for any further details!! Shipping can be arranged anywhere!

Auto Bidding:

Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.

Buyers Premium:

Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.

Buy It Now:

Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.

Time Addition:

Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.

Non Payment Fee:

Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.
