The bold and the beautiful. Meet Heidi, a 7 year old Belgian Quarter horse mare standing at a very stout 15.2 hands. This young lady takes up a lot of leg and is quiet enough for any level of rider. She is patient enough to give beginner lessons, being a good sport the whole time, or pick it up a notch to fox hunt.

Let’s talk about fox hunting. Heidi is exceptional with the hounds. She has hunted this season and has proven to enjoy it. This dream mount is brave to her fences and never takes a wrong step. She  keeps a steady pace going down steep, slippery hills. Heidi never gets strong and has no issues with horses riding her tail. She is respectful to her rider when horses are galloping past her, she always keeps her act together! Heidi is brave enough to lead 2nd or 3rd field, and bold enough to cross water, walk down ditches, and up banks. Heidi is athletic enough to keep up with some of the thoroughbreds, but has the brains to take care of you. She has proven to be a reliable and steady mount, going whatever the pace the rider chooses.

Heidi has a lot of experience trail riding. She can be ridden on the buckle the entire time in all three gates. She has no problem with bikes, strollers, dogs, and wildlife. Heidi is happy to lead, follow or be in the middle of the group, she is also happy to take you along solo. If you need to break young horses, or pony children, no worries she will do that job as well. She is not trailer/barn sour, nor herd bound. Heidi is reliable enough to be a guest, or husband horse, she’s just happy to be there!

In the ring, Heidi will walk, trot, and canter. She is smart enough for you to finish your own way! She stands at the mounting block while you take your time as you get on. She has done walk/trot beginner lessons and is incredibly forgiving and can absolutely take a joke. Heidi is honest and tries to do her best to please you. If she feels you start to get off balance, she will stop and let you get yourself back together! She will also jump cross rails and logs, but experienced enough to jump bigger fences, and look cute doing it!

Heidi has no naughty behaviors, vices, or bad habits. She will stand alone in cross ties for hours whether its for the farrier, grooming or baths. She is extremely sweet and is always at the gate for attention. Heidi will self load into the trailer, and will turn around, or back off. She stands respectfully behind a stall guard and doesn’t mind being in the barn by herself, you’ll probably find her perfectly content licking away at her salt lick! Heidi is turned out with mares, geldings and a mini cow. She is not marish and gets along with everyone. Don’t miss the opportunity to fall in love with this special girl.

Heidi sells 100% sound, up to date on shots, teeth, and feet. She is happiest with a half of scoop of grain a day and front shoes.
