Katniss is the total package with stunning looks, a good mind, and an athletic body. Katniss stands 16.2 hands tall, is 100% sound, and is as sweet, gentle, and kind as one could be. She will be the first to greet you at the gate and loves attention and being groomed and loved on. Katniss has such a willing and happy demeanor about everything we do with her from the ground to under saddle. She has the perfect ground manners and is great about her her feet and respecting space as well as standing quietly and patiently. Katniss rides both English and Western and was used to drive previously. We have played with low level jumps and she handles them with ease. She has seen a days work on the ranch and spent countless hours riding down the roads and trails. Katniss has beautiful movements and has a small jog one can sit and beautiful extended trot and a lope that feels like you are floating. Katniss is super easy to transition into each gate and rates down easily as well. She has a super nice and soft stop. Katniss has taken kids down the dirt roads and takes care of them. We have not found anything that has phased her yet and she does not easily spook or startle. She has seen ponds, lakes, rough terrain, obstacles, traffic, dogs, etc. She stalls and hauls like a lady or is happy to be turned out and gets along with her pasture mates. Katniss has been a barn favorite and “Wows” everyone who sees her with not only her looks and massive mane and tail but her kind eye and sweet personality too. We truly believe she is a once in a lifetime type horse. She is UTD on vaccinations, deworming, shoes, etc. Katniss has had a reproductive vet exam and is 100% sound to breed. Auto Bidding:
Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.
Buyers Premium:
Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.
Buy It Now:
Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.
Time Addition:
Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.
Non Payment Fee:
Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.
