Magnum is a very handsome and solid 8 year old Quarter Horse grade gelding. He stands at 16 hands. Magnum is one of the most gentle and easy to ride horses we have ever owned. He is very friendly and gentle for anyone including kids or newer horse owners. He is used to being around many different animals and loves attention from people. He stands to be groomed and bathed and is great for vet and farrier.
Magnum is a fun ride for any level rider and will take care of you if you are still learning. He is as safe as horse can get and has not shown to be afraid of anything we brought to his attention such as dogs, cars, tractors, atvs, tarps, balls, umbrellas, poles, cattle, chainsaws… you name it. He is a very kind, honest and trusting horse with a great disposition.
Magnum excels at trail riding. He will go out alone or with others. We have used him here to take out young horses alongside of him who had never been on trails and which we had just started under saddle. He stays calm no matter what. Magnum will go wherever you point him, across fields with cattle, up and down hills, passed machinery, through water and down steep ravines without batting an eye.
Magnum also has a lot of potential in the ring. He has an elegant flashy stride, and his gaits are comfortable to sit to especially his canter. He has a natural low and relaxed headset making suitable for any lower-level discipline western or english, e.g. hunter under saddle. He moves off your leg easily and is willing to go to work.
Magnum is overall a very respectful and well-behaved horse. He is willing to do anything he is asked. His sweet personality will make him bond easily to his new owner and he would make a great addition to any family or lesson program. Magnum will stand tied all day if you ask him to and he stands to mount.

Auto Bidding:
Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.
Buyers Premium:
Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.
Buy It Now:
Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.
Time Addition:
Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.
Non Payment Fee:
Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.
