“Moose” is a 6 coming 7yr old, 15hh, QH/Morgan cross gelding. Moose is a super chill boy and very quiet. He has a beautiful, unique coat, with a personality to match!
Moose will stand around on the cross ties all day to be groomed, bathed, loved on, etc. He has good ground manners and doesn’t mind dogs running around his feet.
On the trails, Moose will lead, follow, go alone, or in groups. He will go absolutely anywhere you point him. He is not spooky at all and safe with traffic, bikes, dogs, etc. Moose will cross water, logs, rocks, you name it. He is the same horse no matter where you take him.
Moose rides western, english, and bareback. He is very soft in your hands and has amazing gaits. His canter is as smooth as butter. Moose will ride on the buckle, or collected. He is very easy going and laid back, and he can take a joke. His “whoa” button is great as well!! Moose is beginner safe, yet has enough “go” to keep an advanced rider entertained. He is the perfect combination of whoa and go, and rides however you would like him to. Moose will pop over fences and has been started on small courses. He also knows his leads.
Moose is good for the farrier, vet, and loads and trailers well. He goes out with a mixed herd, and can live in, or out, he doesn’t mind either way. Moose is a super versatile horse, that is safe and young. This boy has potential to head in absolutely any direction!

Auto Bidding:
Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.
Buyers Premium:
Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.
Buy It Now:
Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.
Time Addition:
Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.
Non Payment Fee:
Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.
