Meet Mr Magoo!
Looking for that versatile horse that can go out and do a little of everything? Well here he is Mr Magoo! Magoo is a 4 year old Belgian/Quarter horse cross gelding that stands at 16.2 hands. Nicely put together, short coupled and athletic. We have had Mr Magoo for over a year and he has been easy and pleasant for everything we have asked of him.
Nicely started in the ring walk, trot and canters. Very comfortable with nice transitions. Naturally picks up his leads and also has his lead changes. Loves loves loves to jump and never says No! Brave and honest to his fences. We have taken him cross country schooling off the farm and he loved every minute of it.
Out on the trails he will happily mosey along on a loose rein in a group or by himself. He is brave will lead the way or is happy to follow the others. Crosses bridges, streams and even loves to take a swim across the pond!
Mr Magoo is not a spooky silly horse he enjoys working and loves any kind of attention. Always the first to greet you at the gate. Gets along well with his field mates. Has never offered to rear or buck or any naughty behavior. Great ground manners and stands quietly in cross ties. Stands well for the vet and blacksmith. Has great feet too. Loves to have a bath as well.
This big sweet gelding could go in any direction you want. From fox hunting, eventing, pony club, showing or just throw a western saddle on him to let the husband take him for a spin.
Magoo has been nothing but fun and enjoyable to own. He sells 100%sound with no vices. He is like having a big Labrador retriever at the farm. I promise this boy will make anyone a happy horse owner.

Auto Bidding:
Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.
Buyers Premium:
Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.
Buy It Now:
Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.
Time Addition:
Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.
Non Payment Fee:
Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.
