Meet Old Gold Invitation, or Jasper, the beautiful loving paint gelding. If you want to get noticed, Jasper's color combination and eye appeal will make sure everyone is looking your way. Also, he is double registered Paint and Pinto Associations.
He has given lessons to students as young as 6 and as old as 80, he is a Saint with them! The students also take him to local shows and show him in English, Western, Showmanship and Trail classes.
Jasper has also gone on overnight camping trips and on trails. He will lead the group, hang back, or is satisfied with being in the middle, he doesn't care! He'll cross logs, obstacles, water, wherever you want to go.
Jasper is very smooth to ride, he easily picks up his leads, moves off leg pressure, sidepasses and knows how to do all his turns, and knows how to give to the bridle. He stands perfectly still for mounting whether from the ground or a block. His height of 16H accommodates bigger riders but kids feel totally safe and comfortable on him!
The kids like to play games on him, have even done a little "jousting", drug logs, rode bareback, and just plain goof off on him. No lunging required, he is the same whether you ride him all the time or if he has time off.
Jasper is super quiet in the barn, he doesn't mind being in the stall, or turned out. He is great for farrier and anything else you need to do. This beautiful gelding is an eye catching horse, and the easiest horse to have around!

Auto Bidding:
Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.
Buyers Premium:
Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.
Buy It Now:
Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.
Time Addition:
Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.
Non Payment Fee:
Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.
