“Rasta” is a 6yr old, 15.2hh, QH gelding. This boy is a fun all around horse, with a beautiful roan coat! He is a sweet and in your pocket type of guy, who loves to be groomed and receive attention. He is a wonderful trail horse, who knows the western life well, yet goes english and bareback too!!

In the barn, Rasta has no bad habits. He stands on the cross ties to be groomed, bathed, tacked, etc. He has great ground manners and he is gentle all around. He doesn’t mind dogs running wild around him. Rasta can live in, or out, in a group or turn out alone. He gets along with others, and comes to the gate every morning.

On the trails, he will lead, follow, go alone and in groups. He goes where you ask, and crosses logs, water, rocks, he is traffic safe, and loves to adventure! He neck reins very well, and makes for a fun ride every time! Rasta jumps right onto the trailer and hauls well. He is not a slow poke, and has a wonderful walk stride out on the trails.

Rasta rides western, english, and bareback. He has comfortable, uphill gaits, and is right in between whoa and go. He has a lovely stride and moves out willingly, but he is not hot or strong. He is responsive to commands, and your seat. Rasta neck reins, moves off of leg, pivots, side passes, backs up, learning collection, listens to verbal commands, and has a great whoa. He was previously used for ranch work, he has been roped off of, and has been around cattle. I have ponied off of him several times and he does amazing!

In the ring, Rasta will walk, trot, canter, and pops over small fences. He is smart, agile, and learns very fast! He knows his leads, and has a wonderful work ethic. He never complains and tries hard to please. He is a safe boy, and steps off of the trailer in new places and goes straight to work. He doesn’t need to be in a routine to stay sane. Rasta is an athletic gelding with so much to offer. He is amazing on the trails, I could see him fox hunting, being someone’s camping partner, and other trail activities. He has his western side, and could be a rope horse, do trail obstacles, ranch classes, western gaming, western dressage, you name it. He has uphill gaits, and could move into the dressage life, and he is honest when it comes to jumping. He absolutely loves to push the big ball around and play with it! I could go on, but over all, Rasta is a really nice all around horse, who isn’t afraid to have a job. He would be an amazing partner for someone who wants to dabble in a little bit of everything and have fun!

Rasta is an easy keeper, with no vices. He is barefoot, and has good legs and solid hooves. He requires no maintenance. He is good for the vet and farrier.

Here is a young, handsome gelding, with so much to offer! You will notice his beautiful summer coat is arriving, he is going to shed out into a very handsome roan real soon! This boy is just the sweetest with a laid back personality!

Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.

Buyers Premium:

Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.

Buy It Now:

Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.

Time Addition:

Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well.
