Outlaw is a 6 year old blue roan gelding. He is as wide as he is tall with thick heavy bone and a striking face. He is NOT an auction horse with no past, I have owned him since I imported him from Canada as a weanling. He was started undersaddle at 3 and has been an amazing riding partner ever since. He has no baggage and is more like a golden retriever then a horse. He has great ground manners and is easily handled by riders of all ages and sizes. He LOVES people and will walk the fence if he sees me and is always the first at the gate. In the pasture he is a total clown and enjoys toys and removing others fly gear. He lives outside on a round bale. Easily stalls, ties, trailers and hobbles. Great for farrier and vet.

He has spent many hours playing in the arena and hayfields and will do lateral work easily, sidepass, turnaroud, stop, lope the tiniest circle and perfrom flying lead changes either way. He will ride in a snaffle, shank bit, bosal or bridle less. he will ride one handed or two. He is unflappable and confident in new arenas and locations. We have put extra people on him for trail rides and used him in lessons. He is very safe in traffic and with dogs. Dont ride him all winter and take him out in the spring to round up cattle and he will act the same. Great brain! He has been at cowcamp, tied to the trailer over night. Hes been swimming, on camping trips and gone cow catching. He hobbles and will lay down on command. He is trusting and sweet and always aims to please.

He has been hauled to many clinics including reining, cutting, and mounted shooting. He took to the mounted shooting right away and is easily shot off of bridle less. He has also worked the cutting flag and been used on cattle quite a bit. He would also be great at obstacle work or working equitation. He is generally quiet and laid back but he will match his riders level and will give more gas for a more experienced person if they want it.

Please Note:

In the event of technical issues (site crash, server glitch, etc) within the last 4 minutes of the auction that prevent you from placing your bid, please contact Traci Roy (940-224-3036) or Jeff Peck (940-882-0269) within FIVE MINUTES of the close of the auction and we will continue the bidding via group text.THIS ONLY APPLIES IN THE EVENT OF TECHNICAL ISSUES BEYOND OUR CONTROL.

Auto Bidding:

Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.

Buyers Premium:

Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.

Buy It Now:

Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.

Time Addition:

Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.

Non Payment Fee:

Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.
