Meet Shorty! Wow, check out how cool he is! Shorty is 7 years old and is standing at 14.1 hands tall. If you are looking for a horse that has been there, done that and can handle any level of rider, shorty is for you! Shorty has been used as a family horse for the past couple of years, teaching the young ones how to ride in the arena and being used as a guest trail horse that we put the in experienced friends on that have never rode before. If you can swing a leg over him you can ride him. Shorty will have a nice one hand neck rein on him, and will walk, jog, and lope in the arena with a loose rein. You can let shorty sit for a long time and he will be the same horse every single time. No buck or rear ever! Shorty has seen a rope and has been pony’d off of. He would make an excellent kids gaming pony or kids English prospect. He is also a great trail mount. He will ride out alone or in a big group, you can just throw the reins away and just point and go enjoy a nice relaxing ride on him. Shorty has good ground manners he will stand tied to do all things like saddling, bathing, and grooming! He is easy to catch in the pasture and is lower in the pecking order. It doesn’t matter if you’re riding him in the arena, going down the trail or taking a joy ride down Main Street, Shorty will do it all! Auto Bidding:
Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.
Buyers Premium:
Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.
Buy It Now:
Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.
Time Addition:
Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.
Non Payment Fee:
Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.
