Meet Skywalker!

He’s a 6 year old Appaloosa/Draft Cross Gelding stands about 15.1 hands tall and he’s built! He’s a big guy that can carry a big rider. He has been used as a kids camp horse and as a trail horse. He’s quiet and laid back not spooky. He’s an easy keeper and gets along well in the herd. He’s also easy to catch and will meet you at the gate.

Out on the trails he prefers to just mosey along and take it easy. He does know how to move off the leg, takes his leads, does a flying lead change, and will stop off the seat. However he does have more of that draftiness in him and would rather just take it easy out on the trails and mosey right along. He will ride away from home alone or separate out on the trail and he does fine if the other horse leaves him behind. If you ride him in a group being a camp horse he is used to following so that is what he prefers to do is just follow along behind.

He picks up his feet, fly sprays, and hoses down. He stands good for saddling and mounting. He loads fine in the trailer and hauls well. He will cross creeks, rivers, logs, bridges, etc. He is fine with traffic he has seen the train go by and blow its whistle and it doesn’t bother him.

He does have a small scar on his left back foot and the skin is a little rolled up there. It doesn’t affect or bother him it’s just superficial. The previous owners didn’t take care of it right away when it happened so that’s why there is rolled up skin left there and since it doesn’t bother anything we have left it alone if you wanted it to look prettier you could have the skin cut away by a vet and have them make it look nicer, but again it doesn’t bother anything it’s just superficial. So we have left it alone he’s drop dead gorgeous everywhere else we don’t even notice it. We included a photo so please refer to the photos.

Please Note:

In the event of technical issues (site crash, server glitch, etc) within the last 4 minutes of the auction that prevent you from placing your bid, please contact Traci Roy (940-224-3036) or Jeff Peck (940-882-0269) within FIVE MINUTES of the close of the auction and we will continue the bidding via group text.THIS ONLY APPLIES IN THE EVENT OF TECHNICAL ISSUES BEYOND OUR CONTROL.

Auto Bidding:

Auto-bidding is available and is very easy to do! To place an auto-bid, instead of bidding the minimum $200 increment, simply enter the amount of your maximum bid (max bid). Doing this will automatically keep you $200 above everyone else until your max bid is reached or the auction ends, whichever comes first. You may also increase your max bid at any time without your current bid being affected. In the event that your max bid is reached and you are outbid, you will receive a text message letting you know that you have been outbid. This text will include a link for you to use to place a higher bid.

Buyers Premium:

Starting March 6, 2022 we will be implementing a 3% Buyers Premium on all sales.

Buy It Now:

Magic Horse Auction now offers a Buy It Now (BIN) feature on some horses. This feature allows buyers to purchase a horse now and not have to wait until the end of an auction. Our Buy It Now (BIN) option is only available at the sellers discretion. If the seller offers a Buy It Now, a bidder can purchase that horse immediately at a price set by the seller. When the “Buy It Now” button is hit and confirmed, the auction ends immediately and the bidder who activated the BIN is responsible for payment within 48 hrs of activation of BIN.
The “Buy It Now” option will be removed 24 hrs prior to the close of the auction, unless otherwise specified.

Time Addition:

Please be aware that if a bid is placed within 4 minutes of the close of the auction, an additional 2 minutes will be added to the clock to give any other bidders time to place their last minute bid as well. This will continue each time a bid is placed until 2 minutes has gone by with no new bids, at which time the auction will officially close.

Non Payment Fee:

Winning Auction payment arrangements MUST be made within 48 hrs of end of auction. There will be a $1000 non payment fee charged to the credit card on file of any winning bidder found to be in default. This also applies in the event of a bidder defaulting using the Buy It Now feature.

We're Here To Help:

We are happy to help any way we can, but for maximum chance of success, be sure you are pre-registered prior to the last 10 minutes of the auction. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to give us a call! We are here to help!
